Meik Heile has been with Heumann as an attorney at law since 2017 and advises clients in matters of industrial property law, in particular in the defense and enforcement of IP rights. He represents these clients against infringers and authorities as well as in court. A special focus of his practice lies in the interdiction against imitations and counterfeiting in the area of trademark and design law. He additionally advises clients on competition law matters.
During his law studies at the Universities of Halle and Leipzig, Mr. Heile dealt early on with intellectual property issues. Further, he has advised entrepreneurs and tradespeople at a law firm specializing in IP matters during his legal clerkship. Mr. Heile is a Special Solicitor in Intellectual Property Law.
